Located in the southeast corner of Kansas, little Piqua is about 100 miles southwest of Topeka, the state capital.

Traveling east on Hwy. 54 toward Piqua, turn right just past the plant. Continue on 100 yards (past the honorary "Keaton Bypass" seen here on the right) down to the Water District building on the left.

Just before reaching the Water District building, which houses the Keaton Museum, is an adjoining field which contains the plaque dedicated to Keaton's birthplace.

Across from the post office, to the right, is the local farmers CO-OP store, located on the site of Buster Keaton's birth on October 4, 1895.

On the side of Hwy. 54 opposite downtown Piqua, St. Michael's church (perhaps the "Catholic hall" referenced by Joe Keaton, which served as a substitute location for their medicine show when the cyclone ripped through Piqua on the day of Buster's birth).
